Pregnancy photo shoot photos

Warning to sensitive eyes, there's a lot of skin below, but no nudity, so it won't get weird. :)

My shots from my pregnancy photo shoot I got done 2 days before Jett was born! Just in time.

Especially for you Laura Braid :)

Of course Travis got the best photo! :)

Putting these photos up reminds me we were once a family of 3 not too long ago. Jett fits in so well it's hard to imagine life without him now. So happy to be a family of 4, and even more happier to not be carrying that heavy little guy around inside me anymore! I was so huge and very uncomfortable at the end. There was no more room to grow that's for sure. I'd forgotten how easy it is to move and walk, especially up the stairs when you aren't pregnant!!

Travis: 19 months

Travis Edward Lovell is now 19 months old
He's around 10 kg (or 22 lbs) but hasn't been weighed in awhile, not sure on his height either.
He just finished cutting his 2 top molars and is now cutting the bottom 2.
He loves cars, trucks, Elmo, his work bench, his sand pit, water and playing rough with daddy.
He says a few words, and now other people can understand him too so full on talking is getting closer.
He loves his brother, sometimes too much :)
He really likes frozen grapes and Indian food, haha.
He's such a happy boy, loves to play and is so funny!

Christmas Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a great holiday season. We sure did. Holidays in the heat is pretty amazing. I do miss my white Christmas' but since London didn't have a white Christmas anyways, I don't feel like I missed out. It's still a bit weird having Christmas lights with no snow on them, and I'm getting used to our fake tree, and sitting around with ice teas instead of hot chocolate, or whatever you fancy. Christmas in the snow or Christmas in the heat, I think everyone needs to experience both. And sure can't beat a seafood Christmas lunch.

Our Christmas Decorations and set up!

My Birthday!
I turned 28 this year. Yippee hoorah, it kind of got overshadowed by the fact that I'd just had a baby, but it was still special thanks to an amazing birthday dinner at Sarah's, and my husband and boys spoiling me with a surf board!!! We also headed up to Noosa that day for a quick last minute vacation before Christmas. Noosa is beautiful and we were quite lucky to be able to get away.

Molars!
So somewhere between the last week before Jett was born and 2 weeks after Jett was born, Travis got his 2 top molars and no one realized...ooops. What a champ. We noticed he was a bit cranky and snotty, but with all the commotion, just figured he was getting used to being a big brother. Can't believe he has them already. They are huge, they must have hurt so much, it explains a lot.

Dad's Lunch!
We had Christmas lunch with Wayne's dad and the kids and partners, and our gang a few days before the 25th in Brisbane. A great lunch and especially great as Travis ran around and played with his aunts and uncles and gave me a bit of a break :) He had the attention of a few restaurant goers as well as he taught us about dipping chips in your water glass and then back in aoili, hahaha, I think he's alone on that one.

Christmas Eve!
We got home from Noosa the day before, so we spent the 24th cleaning, sorting, laundry, buying some last minute gifts, wrapping and then some quality family time at night with carols, chocolate and the boys. It was a good evening.

Christmas Day!
What a fun time Christmas is now that Travis is older. We got a decent sleep in and then Travis came downstairs and his eyes lit up like crazy and he kept saying "ooooohhhhhhh" over and over again at all the pretty presents under the tree. And he got right into it, ran over grabbed a gift from Uncle Jason and Aunt Emma and ripped it apart. It took him about 3 days to open all his gifts. He got through about 3 and then needed a break. We had breakfast, opened some more, he had a nap, then got up and we skyped with the Canada family as he managed to open 1 or 2 more. Mostly he just ran around all excited and hopped up on sugar! It was such a fun morning. Jett slept and ate and let Travis open his gifts.
We had Christmas lunch at Wendy and Bill's and it was so good, seafood lunch, mmmmmm.
Of course Travis and Jett (and us actually) were spoiled again. So many gifts, so little time. It was a really good day, good food, good family and good fun.

Boxing Day!
Travis and Jett had some gifts to get through and Wayne and I cooked a turkey roll with stuffing for dinner that night as our Canadian Christmas meal. With the tree and the candles it was quite cozy, almost like home.

Happy New Years!
Well Travis was in bed by 9, we managed to catch the local fireworks from his room just as he was going to bed, so cute. He was full of "ooooohhhs" and "wooooooows". Jett made it to 1030, I followed quickly at 1040 and Wayne who managed to stay up the whole time fell asleep 5 minutes before the fireworks on TV and woke up ten minutes after them. Ha ha ha Happy new years to us! Can you tell we have 2 kids now?

Mom!!!
Hooray! My mom has an arrival date finally, and as of this post, she will be here in 21 days!!!!!
Can't wait :)

Ok all for now. I managed to get this update in while Travis is napping and now its lunch time.
I will end with some extra Travis and Jett photos :)
