He's so easily amused sometimes :)

Reverse mullet: clippers caught on fire leaving him with this :)

These boys love wrestling, Travis is learning to tackle

And he loves his daddy

The winner!

Growing little brother 21 weeks

After work its time to rough house! (Wayne thinks i made the word rough house up)

I love them :)

His first cold :(

This past week we had a bit of a rough one, with Travis getting a really high fever that wouldn't go away, ended up being an ear infection, and earlier last week he'd broken out in hives with an allergic reaction to something, we don't know what, but its gone away now, whatever it was, was only a temporary reaction, which is good. All those things added together gave us a few hard days, I think hardest on me more than him :) It is so hard to see your little baby not feeling well and not being able to know exactly what it is. In all that I had such a loving and cuddly baby, I had to share a few photos of how cure he was, I know I'm such a mom. :)

Really ugly photo of me, but he never cuddles like this....

Laying around on the ground beside me, the sleepy eyes say it all :)

Big Boy Bed!

When we moved in we decided to try Travis out in his new big boy bed. I was hesitant, Wayne was all for it. But it made sense to try it now, since we were hoping to get him in before the new baby came along in December. I thought we would try him out in October or November, but Wayne brought up a valid point: since we were moving house and making changes it was a good time to switch. New house, new bed, that kind of idea. So the day we moved in we left the crib in pieces and Wayne set up the toddler bed. And that night I held my breath as we tried it, and of course, our son is way ahead of me, and had no problems and was fine. I got a little worried when he woke up crying in the middle of the night, but that was more of a "where am i?" kind of thing due to a new house, new room, new surroundings thing. Once I went in and out him back down, he knew he was OK, and that we were there and then he slept the rest of the night, from 7 pm - 9 am!!!! He never sleeps to 9 am, so it was wonderful, big day of moving i guess tires you out! :)
And since then its been success! What can I say, Wayne was right, (shhhhhh no one heard that), we haven't had any problems from day 1. Sure every now and then we find him asleep on the floor or on the mattress beside his bed, but we just pick him up and put him back in his bed. And now at bedtime he knows the bed is sleep time and he almost eagerly sits in his bed and has his stories and drinks his milk and goes to sleep. Sometimes during naps i hear him running around but he doesn't cry and always eventually lays down to sleep. And in the mornings he gets up and plays in his room, giving me a bit of time to shower before i go and get him, which is such a total change! In his crib he would wake up and cry out right away to get out of that thing. Toddler bed is happy days for all 3 of us :) :) :) So of course here's a few photos :)

Gone in to get him from a nap!

Finally got one of him sleeping :)

:)

Awww he's so cute when he's asleep :)

Our place!

OK so here are some photos so you can all see what our place looks like. Excuse the mess, and we are still missing some furniture, and our outside table is currently our dining room table, lol, but at least you'll get the idea of where we are living. Its a 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath (plus an extra toilet on the main level) townhouse. Its located of the main street in Brassall but tucked away behind a row of shops, so it's very secluded. Its only got neighbors on one wall which is great. We looked at a bunch of places and in the end went with this one due to two main reasons, price and dishwasher! Having a dishwasher is a life saver, especially when I already have to clean up after my cyclone of destruction son Travis :) And price means we got something a bit smaller, but in the end we are so happy and it seems perfect! Anything bigger and there would be too much cleaning, and too many rooms to fill with furniture we aren't using. Oh and Canadians there isn't a basement, those don't exist over here! OK here it is!

Our living room, i know amazing floor mat eh?

living room, with front door behind and stairs

View from front door, check out or stellar dining room table (real cafe feel), not to mention there's an octopus living in our house. In the back is the kitchen and then the backyard

Another view, storage room under stairs, hall to the right of that door leads to the garage, the double doors with the black diaper bag hanging on them has the laundry in it, and right beside that is a toilet.

Our kitchen!

Our kitchen again :)

Our kitchen, those double doors is our massive pantry, and then of course sliding door to our back yard

Ahhh lovely nice big pantry, not a walk in, but you could lie in it if you wanted

The (easy to maintain) back yard :)

Still backyard, with a door leading into the garage, and where the grass keeps going to the left is a clothes line

Clothes line (love how you can hang your laundry out year round!)

Super interesting I know: gas tank

Looking back at the house from back yard

I love being able to see palm trees everyday, view from my backyard :)

Remember those double doors? This is the laundry that is behind them

The man cave, the garage

OK upstairs now, this is going to be the baby's room, and our guest room. Mom this is where you'll be staying, I promise to make it look more inviting :)

Still the baby/guest room

Travis' bathroom (yes he has his own momentarily) See how huge it is, wait till you see ours, I think we got ripped off

Another angle of Travis' bathroom

His tub and all his bath time friends

His vanity set

At the top of the stairs, looking towards the front of the house. To the right of the shot is the baby room, behind me is a toilet, and to the left is Travis' room. The open door on the left is Travis' bathroom and down the hall is our master bedroom

And that's it in reverse....exciting stuff

Our bedroom, nice and big

Our huge closet

Our ensuite :)

I know exciting

Our home! and my car!

And again, in case you missed that last photo

A bit out of order, but now here's Travis' room, he was sleeping when I started taking these shots, now he's awake.

His bed and the roll out mattress in case he falls out, which he doesn't :)

Showing off his room

So that is it, it's still in the unpacking and reorganizing stages, and of course needs a bit more furniture, but that's it and we love it!
