The September Sessions (part 2)

Hello all,
I am back in commission! After a week of the most tired and sore I have ever been I am back. I think the (not so) little baby was demanding my body grow more to accommodate him, so in 3 days my body feels as though it went thru an extreme growing challenge. Felt a bit like getting hit by a truck but without the story and the bruises to go with it. I pretty much crashed for bed every night by like 530 pm! But enough of that, spring is here. And in Australia, spring is a lot like an amazing Canadian summer. its been 33 C for the past few days, blue skies, no clouds, soooooo nice! Of course the sun is a mean creature out here and so it already feels so HOT. Daily sunscreen application is required and Travis is learning hats stay on heads! So of course the nice weather has brought on an increase of photo taking, as it does.

This is Travis on his 15 month old birthday! We love him so much, he's such an amazing kid. So here's a little update on where he's at:
He's our little guy :) He's only 9.8 kg, which is 21 lbs. He's at about 73 cm tall :) He loves to play outside, he would prefer to not wear clothes, he can undress himself if he wants to, he loves canned peaches and spaghetti, we love watching him eat spaghetti (its hilarious). He loves music, Dora the explorer, bananas in pajamas, giggle and hoot, sesame street and anything with singing. He loves doing whatever Wayne is doing, including his morning stretches which is amazing to see Travis try and imitate them. He knows how to melt my heart and I am such a sucker for him and he knows it! He doesn't say many words, but he babbles a lot and he fully understands us. We can ask him to get something, go somewhere, do anything, and he can follow directions. I love his crazy hair and no we aren't planning on cutting it anytime soon :) He now understands that the baby is in my belly, but also thinks the baby is in his belly too. We love him so much and everyday is so much fun. He makes us laugh more and more and teaches us so much everyday.

My two favorite men:

Spaghetti night, our favorite night

Earlier in the day we were practicing what 'up' and 'down' means, so when he climbed on the table which he's not supposed to do and i said 'get down' ......

Our day at Wellington point together :)
Low tide

This path on the left connects the beach to that island you can kinda see out on the right, you can only walk out on it during low tide, at high tide its all under water. We started to walk it and then got distracted by puddles

Then we had a pic nic in the car trunk, because a little crab got his foot and he didn't want to sit on the beach at that moment.

I love how dramatic he can be about the little things sometimes.

Asleep in his closet :)

Is it bad he loves playing with empty beer cartons?
