Love these boys :)

Getting ready for fall, new shoes, new jeans, new shirt. My little shorty needs his pants rolled up :)

He prefers the checked ones, but how cool are the high tops! Reminds me of my sweet L.A. Gear's from back in the day...you know you had a pair! All the cool kids did.

Loving standing

At his friends birthday party, how good is a bouncy castle?!

Travis Reading

Travis loves reading, here he is reading a book to me. I think he's getting quite good at it too.

Easter

I just noticed the post I did for Easter didn't actually post. So here they are:

A few days early, Nana came over and we had early Easter :)

Ha ha, little duck Jett

:)

This is definitely Wayne's son, ha ha, he organized his Easter loot , eggs over here, then the car, and the big bunny way over there.

Easter Bunny Travis

Good Friday we went with our own tradition and made our own sushi, it was sooooo good! And fun!

Then the Easter bunny stopped by :) He happened to bring a bunch of things from Canada too.

For Travis:

And for Jett:

All set for morning

Easter hunt videos are up on the You Tube channel. :)

Little Food Monster

When the girls were here, Jett had a first, he had his first solids, which wasn't solid at all. We gave him some Farex (baby rice cereal). He has been reaching for food for a bit now and is such a big eater, we decided to get started. I was eating an ice cream over him the other night, and he wanted it so bad, he actually cried when I finished it, ha ha, easy Jett....no ice cream yet. He's sitting up much better now, not on is own, he needs support from all angles or he takes a sudden dive in any direction. Its so funny when he just folds over in half....oh babies, so flexible. He's 5 months now, so it was probably a week or so before his 5 month birthday that we gave him the cereal.

Whoa you guys, this stuff is awesome....

Super proud parents

And some video:

And a few days ago:

And from today: I know it's repetitive, but it's awesome.

Getting great in the high chair already, I feel like he grew mentally this week!

He melts my heart and I get to see him everyday :) I'm a lucky mom of two awesome boys.

It's awesome how much he gets into it, and that's literally too (Melanie? Figuratively? Literally? I don't want to upset your Grandma). He probably only eats like a tiny teaspoon amount each time, but he enjoys looking and touching and getting the stuff all over his face and hands. It's all learning and fun.

And for everyone wondering, Travis thinks its pretty neat Jett is eating and doesn't mind sharing his high chair with him at all, just as long as he's not hungry too.

Southbank

During the week when the girls were here, we drove into Brisbane and spent a few hours at Southbank. It's such a beautiful place, Travis loves the beach lagoon, and its always a great place for people watching. This particular day we were rewarded with creepy old-young, nerdy, awkward make out couple. It was awesome and gross.

Beautiful Southbank

Travis was so cute, he wanted Jett, (or etttt as he calls him) to sit in the water with him

Beachy lagoon type pools right in the middle of the city, and free for everyone! So cool! This is one of our favourite places to take the boys.

the best photo takers.

better....

Best. Friends.

Thanks old man stranger for taking our photo and not stealing our baby.

Walking over a bridge half way and then back is the same as walking all the way over a bridge.    ?

The eye of Brisbane, which we sure didn't ride, because it's super expensive. Rip off.

Love trees.

It's so lovely there.

I believe this was on beauty setting Sarah?

You can take my photo aunt Sarah but I am not smiling. ever.
