When the girls were here, Jett had a first, he had his first solids, which wasn't solid at all. We gave him some Farex (baby rice cereal). He has been reaching for food for a bit now and is such a big eater, we decided to get started. I was eating an ice cream over him the other night, and he wanted it so bad, he actually cried when I finished it, ha ha, easy Jett....no ice cream yet. He's sitting up much better now, not on is own, he needs support from all angles or he takes a sudden dive in any direction. Its so funny when he just folds over in half....oh babies, so flexible. He's 5 months now, so it was probably a week or so before his 5 month birthday that we gave him the cereal.
Whoa you guys, this stuff is awesome....
Super proud parents
And some video:
And a few days ago:
And from today: I know it's repetitive, but it's awesome.
Getting great in the high chair already, I feel like he grew mentally this week!
He melts my heart and I get to see him everyday :) I'm a lucky mom of two awesome boys.
It's awesome how much he gets into it, and that's literally too (Melanie? Figuratively? Literally? I don't want to upset your Grandma). He probably only eats like a tiny teaspoon amount each time, but he enjoys looking and touching and getting the stuff all over his face and hands. It's all learning and fun.
And for everyone wondering, Travis thinks its pretty neat Jett is eating and doesn't mind sharing his high chair with him at all, just as long as he's not hungry too.
