Well the girls were just here visiting and it was SO good! I miss them already. It's amazing how good friends from home can make you feel. Please come back soon. The last Sunday they were here, (also world earth day), we went to the Australia Zoo. I have lots more photos, but these are just the Zoo ones. We had a blast. Learned a few things: Africa is a lot smaller than I thought, or so the commercials would have you imagined. Also Tasmanian devils are really hard to get a photo of. Bouncy castles aren't really for jumping, according to Travis they are for running as fast as you can and falling over, and over, and over. And I'm still afraid of snakes.

This guy was like 160 years old!

Friends!
Tasmanian Devil
Cassowary
Feeding the kangaroos was the BEST part of my day
Travis freaking amazed us!
I feel like he will enjoy feeding Jett!
So the Africa section consisted of 3 giraffes, 2 zebras and 1 rhino... not very convincing.
Beautiful Tigers.
More roos!
Jett being eaten by a croc, and the random kids who were yelling their ages and grades in school they are in at me. It was weird. "I'm going to take a photo with my sons and the crocodile"..."I'm in grade 2 and he's 2 years old".............ok.
Slow and steady....this guy was HUGE!
Ha ha, ever see that animal planet commercial...this owl is like that.
Tasmanian devil.
Yay, feeding the roos again :)
Ok this is what Wayne looks like when he's feeding Jett, hahahahaha
Pride rock, knew the Lion King was real

Feeding the elephants.
Such a great day at the zoo!
Thanks girl for an awesome visit!
Some feeding the kangaroo videos: Travis was so cute, and so gentle with them. This was the best part by far. Funny he was terrified of the small lizzards for the first 20 minutes of the zoo but hand feeding an animal who is taller than you and known for punching - no problems!
