Massive photo update for April and May

Hello all. Finally uploaded the past months photos off my phone, and there are a lot. They are all pretty random, but it's been a pretty fun time lately, lots happening. The boys are growing up so fast. Jett is already 6 months old. He's 7.9 kilos, (17 pounds), he has two teeth now, and he loves baby food. He has cereal morning and just before bed, and two puréed veggie meals during the day, plus I'm still breastfeeding him. He loves to eat. Travis is going to be 2 next week. He has changed so much in the last few months. He's repeating everything we say, using a lot more words, and even trying some 3 word sentences. He uses the toilet every now and then. Potty training might start soon, we'll see. He loves going for walks, and reading books. He cheers for the Broncos whenever he sees maroon and gold, and loves helping out. He walks the grocery isles with me and puts things in the cart, he likes helping spoon feed his brother. He plays outside all the time. Usually spends most mornings and all afternoon out there. He's super active, he just taught himself to summersault, which we thought was cool. These boys are so fun, especially together, Jett always laughs at Travis and when he's super cranky, Travis is the only one who can make him smile. Its adorable!
Ok on to the photos.

This is from last month, when Mr. Adventure decided to skydive jump off the change table. I think he thought I was going to catch him, but I was facing the other way. We thought it was broken at first, but thank god for kids soft bones. Just had massive swelling and bruising for a few days.

Spending a rainy morning at the markets, catching rain drops on his tongue.

Being a kid is awesome, and being a parent is cool because they remind you of all these fun things.

Jett stayed rugged up and close to me.

Such a helpful big brother, sharing his water with Jett

Jett prefers feet

At the park with his best friend, Matilda.

Showing off his new hair cut, that I did!

Fixing his trucks. They seem to break down a lot.

This is Jett 80% of the time, skydive pose!

Travis went on a weekend away from us. He went with his nana and poppy to visit his aunty Sarah and Shane in Longreach, QLD. This is what a packed suitcase looks like for an almost 2 yr old.

Adorable Jett, got to be an only child for a weekend, and adapted well. This was the weekend he begun to babble like crazy. We thought it would be so quiet without Travis home, but Jett was determined to use his time alone wisely and tell us everything.

Wayne doesn't know I'm posting this one, hahahaha. Getting back to his skating roots! He got so much hotter at this very moment, lol.

Watching footy with dad!

My chubby little Jett

Out for dinner with mom and dad, while Travis was away on his holiday.

Proud moment: home made cabbage rolls I made! Sweet! Someone show this to Grandma in North Bay, I think she'll be impressed!

Travis at playgroup.

Sitting in your couch is cooler than sitting on your couch

Permanently bruised. A nice egg he got within the first 5 minutes of being at playgroup a couple weeks ago.

The mother's day cards my boys gave me from playgroup!!!!!!!!

He's so cute. He's smiley like this 99% of the time.

I will fight you chair, and I will win.

Helping us choose fruits and vegetables at the market. This ones for you Gramma.

Watching the trucks work in the field

Sky diving pose! Go Jett go!

Mmmmm, helping me bake cupcakes for mother's day. He loves helping me bake. He says "mix mix mix"

Need to entertain a toddler for 30 minutes? Pile of coins and a money bank. He was so focused and so quiet.

The next day we decorated the cupcakes.

More of a taste test really.

Mother's day morning at the park with my boys. Love them.

Always helping.

Going for a bike ride with daddy

I made play dough for the first time. It was fun. Travis helped me mix it all. Holy crap there is a lot of salt in play dough, I had no idea. We spent all morning making play dough snacks for each other.

Having a lunch date with his best friend, Matilda. Cheers.

We had a Teddy bears picnic at play group a few weeks back. These are the cupcakes I made. They are supposed to be bear heads, lol.....not yellow mickey mouses....

The treats came out, the teddy bears got tossed aside, and foraging began.

Ya buddy!!!! Rocking out in his colours!

How he spends most of his time, riding his bike in the back yard.

Or driving

We went to the Ipswich show last weekend, and had an awesome time. We went with Wendy and Bill and their grand daughters Phoebe and Sophie. This jumping castle was huge and I thought for sure he wouldn't want to even try to go up the ladder and down the huge slide. Obviously I wasn't thinking.

Such a proud parent moment! So I'll brag, again. Smallest kid in there, no hesitation at the massive drop!!!

See him at the bottom!

And again. So cute, all the big kids helped him up the ladder on the sides. They all bunched behind him and pushed him up and some pulled him from in front. It was the coolest thing to see. They all worked together and made sure he got up, with no one asking them to help.

His cousins, Phoebe and Sophie

Hey Uncle Rick, look at me!!!! I think he wants to go back to the farm.

Fireworks at the show, brag moment, both boys loved them. Which makes Travis and Jett braver than Aunt Emma! Ha ha ha ha ha.

Watching the fire works. I told him they were the stars exploding, my kids are going to be so confused one day.

Just sitting in boxes, playing lego

Travis you are too big for the jumper.

Awesome family photo.....sort of. Love Sunday mornings.

Happy 6 months Jett!

Brotherly Love.

Eating greens for the first time, loving it?

Half hearted pumpkin scones I made. I messed up the recipe in about 6 places, but they still tasted good. The boys actually loved them.

Shaving cream and glue art. Travis' snowman. He knew where are the parts go. Because you always wear your hot out of your eye.

Jett at playgroup. He's surrounded by ladies. Cute, adorable little Hannah beside him.

Daddy and Jett.

Ha ha ha, testing out Travis' present from Gramma before Travis got it.

First tooth

All rugged up, because it's winter, going for an after dinner walk.

Oh little Jett.

My boys, My loves. My life. I love these 3 so much. How similar do they look?

Travis copies Wayne when he does his morning stretches. He's getting quite good at it. Most fit 2 yr old ever.

And sun salutation........

Art work hanging thing I put up in their toy area.

On his new present from Gramma. Farmer Travis!

Next blog entry will be after the weekend, after Travis' 2nd birthday party we are having. This is a sneak peak of play dough I made for the loot bags. Will take tons of photos and put a birthday party blog post up. Planning a kids birthday party is super fun and something I realize I've never done before. And also, another thing that made me realize how awesome my mom is! She always threw us super fun and creative parties. And they take a lot of work and planning, who knew? Thanks mom! I have so many awesome childhood memories of fun parties you had for me. Everyone remember gingerbread house making and going tobogganing? or ice skating? So fun!!!!!Oh wow, just got excited for when I get to plan a party for the boys in Canada!
Ok that's all for now, it's Wednesday morning here, and we are off to play group now.
