Currumbin Beach Day

Another fun day while Melanie and Sarah were here, we were joined by Emma and Matilda, and headed to Currumbin beach for some sun and surf. Despite all the face moisturiser applied, somehow we still got burnt, even though it was a bit overcast. Travis was terrified of the waves, the kids kept running away, the tent fell over on Jett, but it was warm, the water was amazing, the kids let us bury them in sand and we had a kick ass picnic (thanks Em), and it was an awesome day.

After the beach we went around the corner to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, so Sarah could hold a koala, and it was awesome! Birds sat on my head, pretty sure we all got pooed on at some point, and Sarah got her koala hug :)
